COSPLAY

Yes! Cosplay is always welcome at Star Wars Celebration.

It’s important to note for our fans attending from out of the country that it is not customary to travel to and from an event in your cosplay in Japan. Instead, fans attending events travel to the event in their everyday clothes with their cosplay in a secure bag or luggage and then change into their cosplay at the event. We are working to secure cosplay changing rooms and storage in the venue and will have more details on that available soon. We highly recommend that you follow Japanese etiquette and wait to change into your cosplay until you arrive at Makuhari Messe.

Once you are fully in your cosplay on the Star Wars Celebration campus, feel free to wear your cosplay wherever you would like, unless you are otherwise directed by venue security who may ask large groups not to gather in certain areas.
