ReedPop provides accessibility stickers, which may be picked up on site only (no application necessary) at the Accessibility Desk at Registration in Hall 9.

Please note that the accessibility sticker does not provide admission, you must have a valid ticket to attend Star Wars Celebration Japan.

**Accessibility stickers are for the use of one individual only throughout the course of Star Wars Celebration Japan. Accessibility stickers cannot be redistributed, resold, or reallocated. Failure to comply with this will result in revocation of your ticket without refund and the inability to attend future ReedPop events.

Wheelchair Access and Accessibility Parking

For information on Makuhari Messe’s pick-up/drop-off and parking details and directions, please click here.

There is a designated area for guests with disabilities in Makuhari Messe Parking Lot on a first come, first served basis.  We recommend that guests with disabilities arrive early to park in these spaces.

Accessibility Seating and Queuing

  • There are dedicated Accessibility queues for entry into the convention center, stages, panel rooms, and our autographing and photo ops areas. If another area of the show develops a line, please talk to any staff or crew directly and they can assist you.
  •  All seating for panels and screenings is on a first-come, first-served basis and we cannot guarantee seating for everyone. Guests with disabilities should plan to arrive at a panel at least 30 minutes prior to the event so that we can best accommodate you. Keep in mind that all our events are very popular, and we will make every effort to help you access the panels that are important to you.
  • We provide a separate line for all official autographs and photo ops. Please be advised that our guests often sign for limited amounts of time, so we ask you to arrive closer to the beginning of our signing time. When our guest reaches capacity, we will close the line.

Service Animals

Service animals are permitted throughout the venue; however, this DOES NOT include:

  • Emotional support animals
  • Therapy animals
  • Companion animals

Pets are not allowed and will be turned away. Only legitimate service animals that are properly trained and under the proper care of their owners will be allowed into the event and provided with the appropriate credentials.

  • All service animals must always remain by the handler's side and must be harnessed, leashed, or tethered, unless these devices interfere with the service animal's work or the individual's disability prevents using these devices. In that case, the individual must maintain control of the animal through voice, signal, or other effective controls.
  • Service animals must be housebroken and should use the service animal relief area.
  • Anyone bringing an animal will be responsible for and liable for any damage or injury caused by the animal.

All animals should have legally required vaccinations.

Wheelchair Accessibility

The venue is fully navigable for people with mobility disabilities. There are accessible pathways connected throughout the venue including parking, entrances, stages, and vendors and all other activity areas.

Is there anywhere I can rent a wheelchair?

To ensure you receive the wheelchair you need, we recommend researching rental companies and making separate accommodations prior to traveling to Japan. The Accessibility community recommends https://www.accessible-japan.com/

You can also rent a wheelchair for free through the Makuhari Messe directly*. Please ask the Makuhari Messe Guard or contact at 043-296-0531.

If guests need to rent a wheelchair onsite, we recommend reaching out to the Show Management Office located in Hall 3*.

*Note: there are a limited number available, and they will be provided on a first-come, first-served basis.

Sensory Warning

Strobing lights, amplified sounds, and large crowds are quite common at our show. Please be aware of your surroundings and consider taking breaks as needed. However, if you leave during a seated panel or session, we cannot guarantee your seat will be held until you return.
