Art Show Application

Thank you for your interest in the Star Wars Celebration Art Show. The submission period is now closed.

Artists selected to move forward will be asked to submit one or two concepts for their piece for the Art Show, due November 1, 2024. Concepts should be submitted without the artists’ signature. The anonymous concepts will be evaluated by a team of artistic talent at Lucasfilm.

Because all artwork will be selected with the artists’ names hidden, we would encourage the submitted concepts to be as close to final as possible, since a rough sketch – without knowing the style and reputation of the artist -- will often be at a disadvantage next to finished works.

Lucasfilm will notify all applicants on second round results by December 9, 2024.

Final art, to be used in the promotions and in the commemorative guide, will be due February 7, 2024. Artists’ headshots and updated bios will be due at this time as well.
