Cosplay Showcase

Star Wars Celebration Japan invites cosplayers of all levels to join the most exciting Cosplay Showcase in the galaxy at Star Wars Celebration Japan!  The Cosplay Showcase is a fun-filled celebration of the very best Star Wars cosplayers that want to share their talent, skill and determination with the galaxy.

When completing your application, please note the following:

• The Cosplay Showcase will be taking place on stage in Japan on Saturday, April 19, 2025.  The exact time of the SWCJ Cosplay Showcase will be announced soon.
• Participation in the Cosplay Showcase is free, but all participants must have a valid entry badge to Star Wars Celebration Japan for Saturday, April 19, 2025 in order to compete.
• All entries must represent a character or element from the Star Wars galaxy.

Applications will close on Monday, March 10, 2024 at 11:59am ET / 11:59pm JST and all applicants will be notified of final decisions by early April 2025.

All applicants must complete the Photo Submission and answer the Application Questions in order to be considered for the Cosplay Showcase.

Photos of your cosplay must be submitted in order for us to review your application.

Please submit the following images:

• A photo of your cosplay
• At least one photo of you wearing your cosplay
  • Photo should show the full costume, not just a portion
• A reference image of the character your cosplay represents

Please include your name in the title of your image files

• For example: Kelsey_cosplay.jpg and Kelsey_reference.jpg
