New Star Wars Celebration Style Guide

Photo Ops are a very quick process to provide you with a high quality, professional photo of you and your fave celebrity. These are NOT meet and greets. You can't ask for an autograph or hug and will not be able to give the guest a present (that's what Autograph signings are for). You will be brought into the photo booth, given the prompt "Ready?" by the photographer, and the photographer will snap the photo. You will need to exit the booth immediately following your photo. The whole process will take a few seconds. Photo Op times are limited so this ensures that every fan in line will be able to get their photo. Your Professional photo will be printed and available for pick up once your Photo is taken. 

A Photo Op Team Up or Duo is a paired photo op with more than one celebrity guest. For example: In the “Ahsoka Team Up” you and up to 3 other guests will be taking a photo with Rosario Dawson and Ashley Eckstein. 

Please note: Team Ups are only available for the celebrity guests that have that option. 

We ask that you arrive between 5 and 15 minutes prior to your photo op. Once the line moves, it moves very quickly and often those that arrive closest to the session time wait the least amount of time. Lining up more than 15 minutes prior to your photo op will result in security asking you to leave the area until it is time for your photo op.

Yes, a ticket to Star Wars Celebration Japan for the day you are purchasing a Photo or Autograph for is required.  Please ensure you purchase an admissions ticket prior to purchasing any photo ops. If you purchase a Photo Op or Autograph without purchasing an admission ticket, in the case that the event is sold out, we will not be offering refunds for missed Photo Ops or Autographs.

The best way to avoid missing out is to purchase your photo ops online prior to the show. If you wait to purchase your photo op onsite, then you run the risk of it being sold out.

If you are late arriving and the Guest has already departed, you will have forfeited your photo op and will not receive a refund.  If you miss your photo op, you will also not receive a refund.

If you no longer wish to obtain a photo with a guest, you can exchange your ticket for another guest, providing the photo session has not already started. Photo Op and Autograph refunds will be available up to 7 days prior to the start of the event. Absolutely.  You may purchase additional print copies and/or JPEGs when you buy online or onsite for an extra $10 each.

Please email [email protected] with the name of the event and the number on your receipt, and someone will confirm your email address with you.

You should receive the printed photo and/or the digital copy if you purchased it within minutes after your Photo Op. 

Personal cameras are strictly prohibited in the Photo Op area.

Please do not bring gifts for the guests during their Photo Ops.  This creates delays while they hand off the gifts to someone else. As a general rule of thumb, it is recommended that fans do not present guests with gifts as they often do not have space to fit the gifts into their luggage or they can’t bring the gifts home with them. Gifts of food and/or beverage are strictly prohibited.

Note: Certain celebrity guests will have different autographing options to select from. Please look through the options for each celebrity and check here for additional details on what those selections include.

• At Table (Autograph and Selfie): This option allows the attendee to take a selfie with the celebrity guest and also get one item autographed. 
  • Please note: the selfie cannot be printed by our team onsite.

• At Table (Autograph): This is an autographing option that is available to get any single item signed by the celebrity guest of your choosing.
  • A selection of 8x10 photos will be provided for Celebrity Guests for attendees to choose from if you do not bring a specific item of your own.

• At Table (Selfie): The selfie only option allows the attendee to take a selfie with the celebrity guest at their autographing table. The selfie will be taken on the attendees personal cell phone device or compact camera. 
  • Please note: the selfie cannot be printed by our team onsite.

• Authentication Sticker: 
  • The Official Pix Authentication Sticker is .75” x 1”. This Authentication Sticker may be pre-purchased on the Epic Photo Ops website.

• Autograph (8x10 only): This autograph option includes 8x10 or smaller, photos or art print to be signed by the celebrity guest. 
  • A selection of 8x10 photos will be provided for Celebrity Guests for attendees to choose from. You may also bring your own 8x10 photo if you so please.

• At Table (Premium Autograph): Premium autographs apply to anything larger than an 8x10 photo or art print. Premium autographs can also include action figures, helmets, lightsabers, and beyond. 
  • Please note: If a celebrity guest only has the option for an 8x10 or premium autograph- items that may be deemed ‘Bulky’ on other Guests (like Oscar Isaac) with that option are considered to be Premium Autographs. 

• At Table (Autograph Bulky): Bulky autographs include larger 3D items like but not limited to Statues, Helmets, and Lightsabers.  

• If a celebrity guest has a “premium” and a “bulky” option, please select “bulky” for items that include larger 3D items, like, but not limited to Statues, Helmets, and Lightsabers.  

• Quotes and Character Name add-ons:  

  • These add-ons are only included on select celebrity guest autographs. Some celebrity guests may have limited quantity for each. If the celebrity guest you are getting an autograph from includes these add-on options, here are the details:  

  • Quote includes up to an 8 word phrase from any of the celebrity guest projects. 

    • EX: May The Force Be With You!   

  • Character name is where the celebrity guest includes their “character name” with their guest signature.  

    • EX: Ahsoka Tano
